Small things bring great love

When you focus on good , good gets better

Life is a series of tiny little miracles. Notice them. Most of the time it’s the tiniest of things , most simple innocent and pure gestures which touch our heart and soul and fill us with happiness and utmost joy .

In this constantly running world , chasing after all the big things , whether it’s the desire of having luxurious mansion, becoming a hit superstar , the most successful doctor , engineer or business men we forget to just stop for a second and breathe. We forget to breathe in the small things which might not appear to be much useful individually but it were those little moments which were the stepping stones to the palace of our dreams. May it be that science quiz you won when you were 10 , that first test you got a nice grade on . It may be as simple as the smiling and proud faces of your parents when you took your first step.

We don’t need an occasion to celebrate , it’s the simplest of moments which bring us peace .
In an attempt to achieve material success we forget to appreciate those words of hope and encouragement which got us through toughest of times .

We forget how that book we read with a coffee mug in our hand and our pet resting in our lap brought us all the happiness in the world , took away all worries and calmed us down after the depressing and chaotic day we had . In attempt to be great we forgot to express our gratitude , to all the things which supported us in worst of storms.
Gratitude turns what we have into enough , and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into clarity … it makes sense of our past , brings peace for today , and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Instead of thinking how things would have turned out better in past , why not be grateful for them not turning out to be worse . Instead of complaining of not living in that huge villa and not wearing that designer dress lets be grateful for having shelter over our head and clothes to keep us warm unlike crores of homeless, cloth less people dying of cold in the freezing , chilly night under the open sky. Lets be grateful for listening to that favourite song of ours coincidentally on radio when we were down . Be grateful for your family being by your side on the dining table. Be grateful for having your pet waiting for you everyday when you return home . Be grateful for simple things in life , be grateful for living for not all have that pleasure too. “The more you praise and celebrate your life , the more there is in life to celebrate .”
